GABA tea is a unique Japanese-origin tea rich in gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a compound known for its calming effects. First developed in Japan in the 1980s through an oxygen-free fermentation process, it has a smooth, slightly tart taste & is now produced in other tea-growing regions, including Taiwan.
