This 2002 Lishan Mountain Tie Guan Yin — Yingxiang (迎香) — is a high-mountain oolong grown in the Li Shan region of Taiwan at elevations of approximately 5,600–5,900 feet. Harvested in Spring 2002, it reflects the style and craftsmanship associated with traditional high-altitude Taiwanese oolong production.
Yingxiang Oolong is cultivated from Qingxin Oolong and Jin Xuan Oolong trees and is classified as Taiwan Tea #20. The tea is lightly oxidized (10–15%) and finished with a medium roast (50%), offering a balanced expression of Tie Guan Yin grown in a high-mountain environment.
